Grupo Protexa is a global company that conducts business in offshore and inland construction, industrial, service and environmental operations. The company installs and maintains maritime platforms and constructs railways, sewage water treatment plants, roads and highways, dams and bridges, and docks and lays pipes for various fluids.
Rodrigo Lobo Morales has been chairman of the board and CEO of Grupo Protexa since 2016. He joined the company in 1978 and served in a variety of roles, including director of marketing; vice president of the food, tourism, real estate, electronics, communications and maritime transport divisions, chief operating officer and general director of the construction division.
He is currently vice president of CAINTRA, the business organization that represents industrialists from Nuevo Léon, Mexico. Previous roles include board member, vice president and president of the American School Foundation of Monterrey; board member of the Casino de Monterrey and vice president of the Mexican Chamber of Construction Industry.
